Kendrick Elementary School is proud to announce that our music teacher, Mr. Sal Rios, is this year's recipient of the Kern County Music Educators Association award for the Elementary Music Specialist of the Year. 

Join us in congratulation him on this accomplishment.  

This is the second time he has earned an award as a Greenfield USD teacher by this organization. In 2023, he was also awarded the General Music Educator Award by KCMEA.

Mr. Rios teaches students music literacy through the joyful expression of their voice, instruments, and band performances. We are grateful to have his talent and love for music in our classrooms.
